Summer Reads: The Booksellers' Takes

We roll on with the Season One and Summer Stories with co-hosts Larry Rosen and Christian Winn continuing to explore the entity of the Summer Read, this episode through the lens of the bookseller, book buyer, and the very human joys of in-store experience of bookstores in summertime, and really all the time.

We sit down via Zoom with Pete Mulvihill, co-owner (along with his wife) of San Francisco's iconic indie bookstore, Green Apple Books. We talk origin story, pandemic community support, exciting summer titles, the literary legacy of San Francisco, and more!

As well, we have our man Ross Hargreaves on as this week's Correspondent, giving us his take and insider narratives of working the floor as a big-box Barnes and Noble bookseller. Funny, droll, very Ross. Enjoy! Happy Summer, and keep moving the story forward, y'all!
